Umm Al-Qura University today announced the beginning of the admission for the secondary school graduates wishing to enroll in its undergraduate programs and community college diplomas for the academic year 1441/1442 A.H., via its Unified Admission Portal.
The university welcomes the secondary school students who graduated in the academic year 1436/1437 A.H. up to the academic year 1440/1441 A.H. to enroll in its different colleges, taking into account the specific conditions for joining the streams of the joint first year and the different departments, based on the criteria for the weighted percentages for admission.
The Dean of Admission and Registration, Dr. Abdul-Rahman Al-Ghamdi, underlined that the admission process will pass through 5 phases, starting today with the submission of applications and registration of personal data. This first phase will continue until 26 Dhul-Qi`dah. The second phase will start on 30 Dhul-Qi`dah, when the admission exams for the Department of Quranic Recitations and the Department of Physical Education will begin to be conducted. This will continue until 2 Dhul-Hijjah.
Dr. Al-Ghamdi stressed that the admission results will be announced in the third phase, on 6 Dhul-Hijjah, 1441 A.H., and indicated that the fourth phase of the admission mechanism, on the 6–8 Dhul-Hijjah, will include the process of admission confirmation. After this, the nomination of candidates for the available places, if any, will be conducted on 9–16 Dhul-Hijjah.
Dr. Al-Ghamdi also said that admission to the qualifying and evening preparatory year programs will be available for applicants from 17–20 Dhul-Hijjah, and the admission results to these programs will be announced on 23 Dhul-Hijjah.
Moreover, His Excellency the Dean of Admission and Registration stated that the university will receive applications for the diplomas of the College of Community Service and Continuing Education from 1–4 Muharram, 1442 A.H., with the admission results being announced on 6 Muharram, 1442 A.H.
