His Excellency the UQU President, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bahusain Bafail, issued an administrative decision to establish a new office at the university under the name, "The Strategy Management Office". The new office will be directly affiliated to the UQU Vice Presidency for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

The decision is an outcome of the UQU vision stipulating the need for a reference for the management of the strategic plan (Tamkeen 2023), at the level of the university. Moreover, the UQU vision clarifies the need to evaluate and develop the university's strategy, develop plans for different colleges, institutes, support deanships, and centers, and make sure that these plans are in line with the UQU strategic plan.

His Excellency the UQU President also issued an administrative decision:

• The appointment of Dr. Ayman bin Khalid bin Ismail Johargi as the General Supervisor of the Strategy Management Office for a tenure of one year, from 9 Dhul-Qi`dah, 1441 A.H., in addition to his current work.

He asks Allah (Exalted and Glorified be He) to help Dr. Ayman and grant him success in performing his duty towards knowledge and its seekers, and in raising the standard of this university to enable it to reach its desired goals.
