On behalf of His Excellency the UQU President, Prof. Abdullah Bafail, the Acting Dean of the College of Health Sciences in Al-Qunfudhah, Dr. Bandar Faqiha, and the Director of Health Affairs in Al-Qunfudhah, Dr. Ahmad Al-Omari, recently signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance the college's role in the community in the fields of medical development and treatment services.
The memorandum will pave the college's way to provide health services of high quality and efficiency, according to the treatment requirements of the citizens, which integrate with the services offered by the Ministry of Health. This is to invest the capacities of both sides in serving the community.
His Excellency the Acting Dean of the College said the memorandum achieves the college's objectives and aspirations in establishing effective partnerships with the different health sectors. The aim of such partnerships is to carry out an effective role in serving the citizen and to enhance the college's community role in such a manner that enables sustainable development in the Saudi Kingdom.
