College of Applied Medical Sciences in collaboration with Makkah Health Affairs General Directorate will organize campaign under the theme (Thank Heroes of the Southern Borderline with Your Blood) in line with the initiative of Sustainable Projects Establishment and directives of Makkah Emirate, on Wednesday Jumada Al-Oula 18, 1438 H at King Saud Hall. The Campaign which will be launched by the UQU President Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq bin Bakri Assas in the presence of the colleges deans and affiliates, will last from 9:00 AM up to 5:00 PM.
Meanwhile, the Dean of the College of Applied Medical Sciences, Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed A'shi said this campaign comes within the community initiatives of the college and the university in collaboration and coordination with Makkah Health Affairs General Directorate which provided a mobile blood bank unit equipped with six beds for blood donation and all other necessary preparations for blood storage and blood donors screening.
He further called upon all students and affiliates of the university to join this campaign which is aimed at promoting blood donation culture and improving national cohesion amongst sons of the country. Concluding, he lauded support and attention paid by the UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas to all the activities and programs of the college.
