Higher Institute for Promotion of Virtue and Demotion of Vice  at Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) organized on Tuesday Jumada Al-Oula 10, 1438 H a workshop headed by the Dean of the Institute Dr. Yasser A. al-Qahtani to check performance of the institute and its affiliates in the educational and training programs during the first semester of the academic year 1437/1438 H, besides  a number of  other issues related to the graduate studies program and the training programs provided to the institute's partners.  

The meeting also discussed the institute's plan for the second semester, the readiness mechanism as well as setting proper solutions for improving institute's performance in the second semester. The workshop came out with a number of recommendations including; adopting hard work approach in accordance with the university's mission and vision, making use of the institute's academic and training programs for the benefit of the community, upgrading efficiency of the institute's affiliates though the training courses, besides effecting the proposed initiatives.

 
At the conclusion, Dr. Al-Qahtani extended his thanks and appreciation to the UQU President for providing the material and moral support for the Institute and his lasting keenness to see institute's excellence as point of strength for the university.
