A research by Dr. Manal Al-Ghamdi, in cooperation with the University of Miami and Jackson Hospital in Miami, was approved for publication in the IEEE-TMI journal. The research concerns extracting arterial calcifications from chest x-rays as a sign of a possible heart disease.
The next step in this project will include a new database from Jackson Hospital, which will be available soon for researchers, Allah willing.
