Within the framework of Umm Al-Qura University's preparations for the conclusion of the academic year, and out of its wish to help the students pass the current phase without experiencing negative impacts on their educational journey, the virtual meetings of the academic staff and students will start tomorrow to discuss the mechanism for the final exams and the academic course of action. The meetings, which have been organized by the UQU Vice Presidency for Educational Affairs, the Vice Presidency of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, and the Vice Presidency for Female Student Affairs, will last for three days, and will be held via WebEx.
The meeting of the academic staff members, which will be held tomorrow, will discuss a mechanism for approving the minutes of the meetings, scheduling the final exams, calculating the students' GPA, and clarifying the academic course of action. In addition, it will address the assessments and e-learning, and will answer the inquiries of the academic staff members. This will take place with the participation of the heads and deputy heads of the departments, the vice deans of the colleges, the vice deans for postgraduate studies and scientific research, and the supervisors of the affiliation program.
The university also allocated Tuesday and Wednesday to receive the inquiries of the male and female students about the mechanism for calculating the scores with regard to attendance, grades, and GPA, and clarifying matters related to the affiliation programs, rewards, and other student affair services offered at the male and female sections. These inquiries will be received via special forms.
