The UQU Joint First Year Deanship, yesterday, Sunday, organized the Virtual Major Selection Forum for the male and female students of the deanship. The forum aims to introduce the different departments of the university colleges to students, in addition to the curricula they provide and future opportunities for graduates of the colleges.
The forum reflects the effective partnership inside the university between the deanship and the participating colleges. It introduces the majors available for the students after completing the Joint First Year Program in its health, scientific and administrative streams. The forum also offers a good opportunity for students to inquire about anything they want to know regarding the nature and requirements of these majors and the future opportunities available for the graduates of each major.
The Acting Dean of the Joint First Year, Dr. Azzah Bannunah, stated that this forum intends to pave the way for the students to select the appropriate major, to promote the ability of the educational system to meet the demands of development and the needs of the labor market, and to also invest the energies of the youth and boost their skills.
The forum has been set for Sunday at 8:00 p.m. for the students of the administrative stream, Monday at 4:00 p.m. for the students of the health stream, and the same day at 7:00 p.m. for the students of the scientific stream.
