Last Wednesday, Umm Al-Qura University participated in the Third Qassim Book Fair, which is being held in the King Fahd Cultural Center in Unaizah Governorate.
The university's participation in the Qassim Book Fair, which continues until the coming Saturday, includes a review of the latest literature and scientific publications about the King Abdullah Library digital platform and the mechanism of using it; their display provides an illustrative summary on how to view the manuscripts in which Umm Al-Qura abounds, in addition to the most prominent and leading scholarly and culturally scientific theses.
The Qassim Book Fair is sponsored by the Prince of Qassim Region, Prince Faisal bin Mishaal, and hosts more than 200 publishing houses, with the participation of various government and educational bodies. The fair witnessed a great cultural and epistemic presentation, during which the audience learned about the advancements in modern technology and its great role in developing means of receiving knowledge. They also learned about its role in enriching research and cultural content, through premium digital platforms that provide the reader quick and easy access to information.
