23 UQU male and female employees completed a TOT Program to create professional practitioners. The program was organized by the UQU Vice Presidency, represented by the Vice Deanship of Academic Staff Members Affairs, in cooperation with the Vice Presidency for Business and Cognitive Creativity in King Abdulaziz University, represented by the Center for the Professional Practitioner. The training is known as "TOT", in short.
The trainees received 50 training hours during this program, which extended over two weeks. During the program, the instructor Dr. Abdul-Aziz Al Hassan introduced the modern methods used in the field of training, and differentiated between education, training, and development. He also gave some tips on presentation skills and instructions about preparing training portfolios. This is in addition to defining the features of the training environment, the design errors of training packages, and the concept of planning for their requirements, as well as providing an explanation of the different learning styles, personality types, and communication skills.
