With mothers’ supplications, congratulators’ cries of happiness, chants of joy mixed with the emotions of hearts whose beats accelerate waiting to bid farewell to the university that was decorated with their aspirations, and steps that depict a promising future towards a great homeland vision, Umm Al-Qura University is proud of graduating 8130 female students representing class no. 68 for the academic year 1440–1441 A.H. The ceremonies were held under the auspices of Her Excellency the Vice President for Female Student Affairs, Dr. Sarah Al-Khuli, in the presence of the mothers of the female graduates, at Al-Abdiyyah Stadium.
In her speech, the female student Manar Mashat expressed the gratitude of the female graduates to Umm Al-Qura University, represented in its President, Prof. Abdullah Bafail, and the efforts of its leaders and the academic staff members in supporting their educational progress, developing their scientific abilities and promoting their skills and talents through enriching programs and activities.
On her part, Her Excellency the Vice President for Female Student Affairs, Dr. Sarah Al-Khuli, praised the support of the wise leadership toward general and higher education in the Saudi Kingdom. She also commended the keenness of His Excellency the Minister of Education, Dr. Hamad Al Al-Sheikh, in developing the scientific and application programs in a way that contributes in upgrading educational outcomes and promoting students’ talents, enabling them to join the labor market with high proficiency. She wished the graduates a professional life crowned with success in serving their religion and nation.
