The UQU President, Dr. Bakri bin Maatooq Assas, has taken a set of administrative decisions.
The Advisor to the UQU President, and Supervisor General of his office, Mr. Essam bin Hassan Margooshi, announced that the said decisions stipulated:
- Designating Dr. Anas S. Dabboul as Vice Dean of Leith College of Health Sciences for a tenure of six months as of Rab. II 25, 1438H, in additional to his post as Vice Dean of the College for Educational Affairs;
- Designating Dr. Mamdouh A. al-Otaibi as the Vice Dean of the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies for a tenure of six months as of Rab. II 25, 1438H;
- Renewing mandate of Prof. Abdullah H. al-Jaberi as the Head of the Department of Islamic Economics at the College of Islamic Economics and Finance for a tenure of six months as of Dhul-Hijjah 27, 1437H, in addition to his original post as the Vice Dean of the College for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research;
- Designating Dr. Asaad A. Abduljawwad as Head of the Department of Health Managment and Medical Informatics at Leith College of Health Sciences for a tenure of six months as of Rab. II 25, 1438H;
- Designating Dr. Abdullah H. Semsaah as Supervisor of the Vice Deanship of Leith College of Health Sciences for Hospital Affairs for a tenure of one year, as of Rab. II 25, 1438H;
- Designating Dr. Liqaa H. Salem as Supervisor of the Vice Deanship of Leith College of Health Sciences for a tenure of one year, as of Rab. II 25, 1438H;
- Designating Ms. Mashael A. Melibari as the Assistant Head of Financial and Administrative Sciences Department at Makkah Community College (Girls Section) for a tenure of six months, as of Rabee' II 25, 1438H;
- Designating Mr. Hassan M. Shawish as Administrator of the Deanship of Libraries Affairs as of Rab. II 25, 1438; and
- Assigning Mr. Khaled A. al-Jamei to work at the Deanship of Preparatory Year as of Rab. II 25, 1438.
The UQU President, Dr. Assas, wished them good luck with their new positions, and called upon them to make every effort to drive the university to the sought-after target.
