His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bahusain Bafail, issued an administrative decision to establish a department under the name: “Department of Energy Efficiency”. The department will be directly affiliated to His Excellency the General Supervisor of the General Administration of Projects.

His Excellency Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail also issued a decision to appoint His Excellency Eng. Hussein bin Muhsin Ahmad Al-Makrami as Director of the Department of Energy Efficiency from 30 Jumada Al-Thani, 1441 A.H. His Excellency asks Allah (Glorified and Exalted be He) to help Eng. Hussein Al-Makrami, and grant him success in performing his duty towards knowledge and its seekers and in raising the standard of this university to enable it to reach its desired goals.
