The Intellectual Awareness Unit, on Tuesday, 24 Jumada Al-Thani, 1441 A.H., held a lecture entitled: ‘Impact of Contemporary Civilization on the Islamic Civilization’. The lecture was delivered by His Eminence Dr. Muhammad bin Ibrahim Al-Saedi at the Hall of Sheikh Omar Al-Sabeel (may Allah be merciful to him).
Dr. Al-Saedi explained part of the history of the ancient Islamic and Western civilizations, and to what extent the contemporary civilization is a challenge to the Islamic civilization, particularity since some of the Western civilizations developed from the Islamic civilization.
