A delegation from the Deanship of Information Technology at Umm Al-Qura University visited the university branches in the governorates of Al-Leith, Adham, and Al-Qunfudhah, on Tuesday and Wednesday, 24 and 25 Jumada Al-Thani, 1441 A.H. The delegation included the Acting Dean of Information Technology, His Excellency Dr. Atef Al-Hejaili, the Vice Dean for Technical Affairs, His Excellency Dr. Saud Al-Utaibi, the Vice Dean for Contracts and Financial Affairs, Dr. Abdullah Al-Zahrani, and a number of engineers from the deanship. The visit covered the buildings of the university colleges and their extensions, and the technical support workshops. It also involved ensuring the safety of the network extension, and defining the specific needs of each college.
The Acting Dean of Information Technology, His Excellency Dr. Atef Al-Hejaili, stated that this visit aims to identify the technical state of the university campuses, provide the necessary support to the colleges, and provide their necessary needs. This is in order to support the educational process, and ensure an ideal academic environment. His Excellency extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the President of the University for his constant support and his keenness to provide the latest technology to all the university colleges. His Excellency also expressed his thanks and appreciation to their excellencies the college deans, vice deans and faculty members for the warm reception and their spirit of cooperation and support.
