The Institute of Consulting Research and Studies, represented by the UQU Department of Training and Continuing Education, launched the Professional Development in Clinical Toxicology Program on Monday, 22 Jumada Al-Thani, 1441 A.H. The program is scheduled to last for five days.
The Dean of the Institute of Consulting Research and Studies, Dr. Ali Al-Sha`iri, said that the program provides information on the basics and the important fields in clinical toxicology. This is in addition to identifying toxins from different earth elements, and developing analytical skills using advanced techniques in this field.
He added that the program targets doctors, pharmacists, nurses, medical scientists, and students of health colleges and clinical nutrition, and noted that the accredited program requires completing 40 CME credit hours.
