The UQU President, Dr. Bakri M. Assas, has received an honorary from Dr. Ahmed al-Muraee, the renowned preacher and faculty member of the UQU College of Da'wa and Islamic Theology. The shield, presented by Dr. al-Muraee to Dr. Assas at his office in Abdiyah on Thursday, Rab. II 21, 1438H, as a gesture of gratitude for the colossal efforts he makes to upgrade the educational and research status of the university.
Dr. Assas thanked Dr. al-Muraee earnestly for this king gesture. Dr. al-Muraee, for his part, expressed his pride of the book Dr. Assas presented to him. It is a book on Makkah Dr. Assas has recently published.
