The UQU President, Dr. Bakri bin Maatooq Assas, has taken a set of administrative decisions.
The Advisor to the UQU President, and Supervisor General of his office, Mr. Essam bin Hassan Margooshi, announced that the said decisions stipulated:
- Renewing mandate of Dr. Hussein H. Aburreesh as the Head of the Department of Biology at the Department of Applied Sciences for a tenure of six months as of Rab. I 25, 1438H, in addition to his original post as the Vice Dean of the College for Educational Affairs;
- Designating Dr. Omar H. al-Rashedi as Head of the Department of Hisbah at the Higher Institute for Enjoining Good and Forbidding Evil for a tenure of six months as of Rab. II 19, 1438H, in addition to his post as Vice Dean of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research;
- Renewing mandate of Dr. Tariq S. al-Haqq as the Supervisor of the Department of Occupational Health at the College of Public Health and Health Informatics for a tenure of one year as of Rab. II 20, 1438H; and
- Renewing mandate of Dr. Jamila M. Selti as Head of Department of Diplomas at the Department of Community Service and Continuing Education (Girls Section) for a tenure of six months as of Safar 17, 1438H, in addition to her post as the college's Vice Dean for Educational Affairs (Girls Section).
The UQU President, Dr. Assas, wished them good luck with their new positions, and called upon them to make every effort to drive the university to the sought-after target.
