On Tuesday, the Deanship of Faculty Members and Employees Affairs announced the start of the second phase of the program entitled 'Professional Practitioner,' after the completion of its first phase. The program is organized in collaboration with the Professional Practitioner Center at the Vice Presidency for Business and Cognitive Creativity in King Abdulaziz University.
The deanship held a ceremony to honor the seventy UQU employees who completed the first phase. The ceremony was held in the presence of His Excellency the UQU President, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, and the UQU Vice President, Prof. Farid bin Ali Al-Ghamdi. It was also attended by the Vice President for Business and Cognitive Creativity in King Abdulaziz University and the Supervisor of the Professional Practitioner Center, Prof. Tawfiq Al-Khayyal, the training personnel, and the honored employees.
His Excellency Prof. Abdullah Bafail asserted that the university seeks to develop its affiliates in a manner that achieves administrative excellence and improves job performance. He added that this program is part of the series of programs through which the university seeks to develop the work and administrative environment, and qualify trainers and those interested in developing their administrative skills.
The UQU Vice President, Prof. Farid Al-Ghamdi, clarified that that program, which was launched eighth month ago, aims to fulfill the university vision and aspirations with regard to the improvement of the administrative environment. This can be implemented by investing in and qualifying the personnel.
The Vice President for Business and Cognitive Creativity in King Abdulaziz University, Prof. Tawfiq Al-Khayyal, introduced the Professional Practitioner Center as one of the initiatives launched by the Vice Presidency for Business at King Abdulaziz University, and the first center that aims to create professional practitioners, at the level of Saudi universities. He also mentioned that cooperation with Umm Al-Qura University represents partnership between the two sides.
In addition, Prof. Tawfiq said that the beneficiaries of the first phase of the program learned about the development required in academic and administrative performance that meets the needs of the university to fulfill its objectives and long-term vision.
