150 Female Trainees in the Course Presented by the Intellectual Awareness Unit for Employees of the Security Sectors

As part of the community partnership between Umm Al-Qura University and the General Directorate of Narcotics Control, the members of the Intellectual Awareness Unit provided an awareness raising course to 150 trainees, from the security and governmental units of the Holy City of Makkah, entitled, "Intellectual Awareness Is Needed for Societal Security... Foundations of Drug Prevention". The course was held in King Abdullah Medical City during the period from 3 to 5 Jumada Al-Thani, 1441 A.H.

The Deputy Head of the Intellectual Awareness Unit, Dr. Nouf Al-Juaid, stressed the importance of training courses in broadening the scope of positive thinking, and in providing female trainees with the skills to deal with the various groups they encounter in their work.

The course was presented by specialized academics, who contributed over three days in strengthening the skills of the employees of King Abdullah Medical City, the Special Forces of the Grand Mosque Security, the Makkah Police, the Center for Unified Security Operations, the Security Patrols, and the prisons. The academics were selected according to their specializations related to the topics of the course, and the course included an awareness lecture as well as discussions about their problems.
