His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bahusain Bafail, issued an administrative decision establishing the Smart University Campus Center, which will be connected directly to His Excellency the Vice President of the University for Branches.
This decision is based on the university's vision of the necessity of forming an educational, research and innovative smart environment that contributes in improving the experience of the university beneficiaries: students, academic staff members, and employees, helps in controlling and rationalizing expenditure on basic services, and provides and treats data with smart methods to contribute in taking suitable decisions.
His Excellency the President of the University also issued two more administrative decisions, which included the following:
- Appointment of Dr. Turki bin Ali bin Hasin Al-Ghamdi as General Supervisor of the Smart University Campus Center, in addition to his current work.
- Appointment of Dr. Saud bin Salih bin Salim Al-Utaibi as Deputy General Supervisor of the Smart University Campus Center, in addition to his current work.
His Excellency asks Allah (Glorified and Exalted be He) to help them and grant them success in performing their duty towards knowledge and its seekers, and in raising the standard of this university to enable it to reach its desired goals.
