The UQU Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Abdul-Wahab Al-Resini, opened the “Leadership Development” program for the security patrol officers, and the “Secretarial and Office Management” program for the security patrol staff. The programs were organized by the Institute for Enjoining Good and Forbidding Evil in partnership with the Security Patrols Administration in various regions of the Saudi Kingdom, and will be held for a period of five days, from 1–5 Jumada Al-Thani, 1441 A.H.
On his part, Prof. Abdul-Wahab Al-Resini emphasized that the programs aim to help "60" trainees acquire the leading change skills, the ability to develop future strategies, strategic thinking, and crisis management. He highlighted the university's positive role in activating partnerships with various entities and the continuous cooperation with all sectors to develop effective initiatives that contribute to improving the performance of employees and serve the Saudi community.
It is worth noting that these training programs are one of the outputs of the cooperation agreement concluded between the Higher Institute for Enjoining Good and Forbidding Evil and the Administration of Security Patrols at the Sacred City of Makkah on 10 Ramadan, 1440 A.H. The agreement entails the training of security forces in dealing with pilgrims and visitors, making decisions, and solving problems.
