Board of Directors of Osol Society Holds its 4th Meeting

The Board of Directors of the Saudi  Scientific Society for the Principles of Jurisprudence and Shari'a Purposes (Osol) held its 4th meeting on Wednesday Rabie Al-Thani 14 1438 H in its HQ building at the College of Shari'a and Islamic Studies. The attendees discussed topics on the meeting's agenda including; the annual award of the society dedicated for the outstanding scientific theses in the field of the principles of jurisprudence and Shari'a purposes, project of simplifying  the book of " Rawdat al-Nazir wa-Junnat al-Munazir", publishing outstanding books in the field of the principles of jurisprudence and Shari'a purposes, the society journal (Osol) and the activities of the branches of the society.  
 

Meanwhile, the branch of Osol Society at the College of Shari'a and Islamic Studies(Male Section) organized on the same day a panel of discussion under the title " the Prospects of Research in the Principles of Jurisprudence", in collaboration with the scientific committee in the Sharia Department.  The main speaker in the panel was  the professor of the principles of jurisprudence in the Islamic University and the member of the board of directors of the society, Mohamed bin Hussein Al-Jaizani. Present in the panel were the chairman of the board of directors of Osol Society, a number of the members of the board of directors of the society, Vice Deans of the College of Shari'a, faculty members and members of the general assembly of the society, besides students of the graduate studies. 

 

It's to be noted here that the board of directors of the Saudi Scientific Society for the Principles of Jurisprudence and Shari'a Purposes include Prof. Ali bin Abbas Al-Hakami as the chairman, Prof. Abdurrahman bin Abdul-Aziz Al-Sudias as the Deputy Chairman,  Prof. Ghazi bin Morshid Al-Otaibi as the General Secretary and Rapporteur and the membership of the following; Dr. Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Hameed, Dr. Abid bin Mohamed Al-Sifiani, Prof. Khalid bin Mohamed Al-Arosi, Prof. Mohamed bin Hussein Al-Jaizani, Prof. Abdurrahman bin Mohamed Al-Qarni and Dr. Faisal bin Dawood Al-Moalim.
