The UQU English Language Center held, in two weeks of sessions, interactive development workshops on the teaching methods for writing skills as well as discussions on the development of study courses. The sessions were attended by a number of academic staff in the university within the framework of exchanging experience amongst university affiliates.

The workshops tackled the provision of educational development courses for the educational colleges and the Joint First Year Deanship. They also discussed teaching the medical terminologies, according to the modern methodological methods.

The Director of the Center, Dr. Ahmad Qadi, explained that the objective of organizing these workshops is to upgrade the quality of the academic work, improve the educational environment, and develop the English language learning to advanced stages to achieve the highest-standard of quality in English Language teaching for the beneficiaries from the university affiliates.
