His Excellency the UQU President, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, in his office today, honored Dr. Hanaa Yamani, the Supervisor General of the General Administration of Digital Transformation, for winning in the 17th Middle East Future Leaders Excellence Awards, accorded by the Institute for the Middle East Excellence Award, in the "Future Leaders" category in the education sector.

His Excellency the UQU President congratulated Dr. Hanaa Yamani on her qualitative achievement, stressing its importance in enhancing the global competitiveness of human resources in the government sector, in contributing to creating a culture of leadership, and in supporting the participation of young cadres in the institutional decision-making process.

On her part, Dr. Hanaa lauded the support extended by His Excellency the UQU President, and his keenness to enhance the leadership vision of the university for it to achieve educational and administrative excellence. Moreover, she noted the importance of mutual cooperation and solidarity among the members of the institution, harnessing their capabilities to achieve their strategic goals and accomplish the best results possible.

Dr. Hanaa was honored last Thursday during a ceremony held in Dubai for her contribution in supporting UQU's excellence, her efforts in upgrading the level of knowledge competence, and her effective role in achieving a qualitative leap by accomplishing tangible achievements, thereby qualifying her to be the only candidate for the award in the education sector at the level of Saudi universities.

It is noteworthy that for over 26 years the institute has been conducting research and field studies on government and private institutions, aiming to identify the best technological, economic, financial, humanitarian, social, intellectual and leadership achievements. This was in order to honor the excellent leaders, decision-makers, and institutions that have been able to bring about change to consolidate the foundations and principles of leadership, and that have significantly contributed to raising community awareness.
