Yesterday, Tuesday, His Excellency the UQU President, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bahusain Bafail, inaugurated building (Z) for the female postgraduate students, after the completion of the project to restore the building. The project was implemented by Wadi Makkah Real Estate Company, under the supervision of the Institute of Consulting Research and Studies. The inauguration of the building was attended by the Dean of the Institute of Consulting Research and Studies, Dr. Ali Al-Shaeri; the CEO of Wadi Makkah Real Estate Company, Dr. Wadee Barqawi; and a number of the UQU vice presidents.
His Excellency the UQU President inspected the facilities of the building, which include eighteen halls and four laboratories. These are supplied with all the potentials, equipment, and state-of-the-art educational techniques to create a motivating environment for the female students and help them enjoy an integrated academic day. The capacity of the building amounts to approximately 404 students. It took 48 days (about 468 hours) to be completed, with the participation of 38 engineers and workers from Wadi Makkah Real Estate Company.
Dr. Al-Shaeri praised the follow-up and support given by His Excellency the UQU President to the project, which will provide students with an attractive and encouraging educational environment. In addition, this project will help the female students pursue their postgraduate studies easily and smoothly, and will create a creative educational atmosphere that will urge them to accomplish further achievements.
