Chaired by Dr. Omar S. Sonbul, the Department Student Board held its first meeting in the academic year 1437/1438H on Sunday, Rabee' I 26, 1438H. The meeting was attended by the students Hani al-Maleki, Ayman Qayed, Bassam al-Mane and Seleem al-Otaibi.

To begin with, Dr. Sonbul welcomed the Board members, and wished them good luck with their responsibilities.  It followed that the board embarked on discussing the topics on the agenda. They touched on the schedule of the Department's Laboratories Divisions, efficiency of the department's instructors, and the ways to provide textbooks. The chairman listened, also, to students' suggestions having to do with the College Club, and their contributions to developing it.
