On Thursday, Rabee' II 14, 1438H, at King Abdulaziz Historical Auditorium in Al-Abidiyah, the Minister of Health, Dr. Tawfik bin Fawzan al-Rabeeah, and the UQU President, Dr. Bakri bin Maatouq Assas, will sign an MOU between the Ministry, represented by the Mass-Gathering Medicine International Center, and the University, as represented by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Center for Hajj and Umrah Research.
Dr. Assas pointed out that this MOU comes within the framework of the positive partnership between MOH and UQU, in the University's pursuit to achieve the community's goals, depending on scientific, academic and research bases, with a view to coping with the Rulers' instructions and aspirations.
For his part, Dr. Hamza Ghelman, dean of the Hajj and Umrah Research Center, mentioned that the MOU paves the way for enhancing cooperation between the Instutute and MOH, by presenting studies related to mass-gathering management, aside from exchanging Hajj- and Umrah-associated information.
