Under the patronage of His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, the Public Relations and Media Department participated with the Deanship of Faculty Members and Employees Affairs in organizing an induction meeting entitled, "Administrative Promotions and the Differentiation Criteria", on Thursday, 22 Rabi` Al-Thani, 1441 A.H., in the presence of the Administrator of the Account of the Ministry of Civil Service at Umm Al-Qura University, Mr. Muhammad bin Muslih Al-Jadaani. The meeting was held in both the male and female sections of Umm Al-Qura University, with the men attending in the King Abdulaziz Historical Hall and King Abdulaziz Historical Support Hall (1) in Al-Abdiyyah, and the meeting also being shown in Al-Jawhara Hall at Al-Zahir campus (female section) via closed circuit television.
The objective of the meeting was to support the professional development of university employees, the differentiation standards for administrative promotions, and the main approved differentiation standards. A discussion session was held, chaired by the UQU Vice President and Dean of Faculty Members and Employees Affairs, Prof. Farid Al-Ghamdi, who responded to enquiries from Umm Al-Qura University employees.
