The UQU Vice President for Female Student Affairs, Dr. Sarah bint Omar Al-Khuli, attended the closing ceremony of the “My Protection” forum, which presented a list of academic papers on combating violence against women. The ceremony was held at Al-Jawhara Hall in Al-Zahir, and attended by a number of deans, vice deans, and female academic staff, with the participation of several parties in Makkah, including: the Reconciliation Committee under the Emirate of Makkah Region, the branch of the Human Rights Commission in Makkah, and the Girls Welfare Foundation in Makkah. The workshop reviewed research studies on combating violence against women from the Shari`ah, educational, and medical perspectives.

Concluding the ceremony, Dr. Sarah Al-Khuli honored the organizing and participating bodies for their lauded efforts to make the activities of the "My Protection" forum successful over the past days. At the end of the ceremony, lunch was served to the attendees to celebrate the occasion.
