His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, said that the 2020 budget and its record numbers for the sustainable development of the country and all its territories and constituents, guarantees the building of a prosperous future for the coming generations, with health and education as some of its prime priorities.

His Excellency valued the attention of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud, and His Highness the Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman (may Allah safeguard them), and their support of the scientific fields and research, harnessing all capabilities, including development projects and high-quality infrastructures. His Excellency pointed out that part of this support is directed to research services specialized in the services for Hajj, Umrah, and visits to Sacred Mosques of Makkah and Madinah, to provide the best services to the Guests of the Merciful.

His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University stated that the figures achieved by the budget of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia confirm its strong and robust economy. They reinforce the leadership it seeks to achieve, with its economic, cultural, scientific and social diversity. Finally, he supplicated Allah to perpetuate for our country its security, safety, and stability under its wise leadership (may Allah bless them).
