The closing ceremony of the second season of the competition launched by Al-Muallim Muhammad Bin Laden Chair for Creativity and Entrepreneurship at Umm Al-Qura University, affiliated to the Deanship of Scientific Research, was held on Saturday, 10 Rabi` Al-Thani, 1441 A.H. The competition was launched in conjunction with last month's Global Entrepreneurship Week, under the auspices of His Excellency the Vice Dean for Scientific Chairs, Dr. Abdulilah Al-Ghamdi

On his part, the Chair Professor, Dr. Mahmud Ibrahim Falatah, pointed out that the intensive workshops conducted for the participants within the framework of the competition contributed to generating remarkable entrepreneurial ideas, and acquainting the students with the development of commercial work models, the design of primary products, and the formulation of market entry strategies. These lauded efforts were culminated by creating outstanding projects presented by competitors for the chair's awards.

Moreover, Dr. Mahmud Ibrahim Falatah underlined that the chair aims to promote the culture of entrepreneurship in the university community, and support many scientific papers in the field of creativity and entrepreneurship, which have been published in scientific journals and conferences, noting the chair's commendable role in organizing the activities and participating in relevant events.
