UQU Vice President for Educational Affairs  opens the 3rd Fine Beauty Exhibition

UQU Vice President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Abdul-Aziz bin Rashad Al-Sorouji inaugurated fine beauty exhibition 3 for the first semester of the academic year 1437/1438 H, hosted by the College of Designs in the Exhibition Hall, at the College's headquarter in al-Mansour. The exhibition was attended by the Dean of the College of Designs Dr. Abdel Majeed bin  Mahmoud Sabbagh.


Following the inauguration, the Dean of the College Dr. Abdul Majeed Sabbagh said the exhibition in its 3rd year will last for one week and comprises several corners to display the products of female students of Department of Housing and Home Management. He added that the exhibition highlights the creative, cognitive, perceptual, motion and theoretical skills of the female students of the Department of Housing and Home Management. He noted that such exhibition, held in the corridors of the university, with the support of His Excellency the President of the University Dr. Bakri Assas and the UQU Vice President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Abdul-Aziz Al-Sorouji, constitutes a qualitative move in creativity and innovation. Moreover, it opens the field of fruitful cooperation with the labor market represented in service and productive societies, so as to contribute to the provision of real job opportunities for female graduates and achieve the Kingdom Vision 2030 by increasing female rates in the labor market to 30%. 

 

On his part, the UQU Vice President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Dr. Abdul-Aziz Al-Sorouji  praised the  utmost beauty  of the crafts works of the female students and attributed that to the highly qualified male and female faculty members working in the college and the modern laboratories and study halls  which were set in line with the  top international specifications and standards.


He lauded the support and attention paid by the UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas and his lasting support to provide the proper educational environment compatible with university prestige. He extended his thanks also to the Dean of the College  Dr. Abdel Majeed Sabbagh and all the male and female faculty members of the college for these creative works.
