The Department of Education Management and Planning at the College of Education (female section) organized a scientific meeting entitled, "The Art of Organizational Behavior Management: Between Organizational Authenticity, Trust, Silence, and Regression", on Tuesday, 6 Rabi` Al-Thani, 1441 A.H. The event was organized by the PhD Students in Education Management (the class of 1441 A.H.), under the supervision of the course professor, Dr Khuloud bint Saad Al-Yusuf.

The meeting was opened by an introduction from Ms. Walaa Al-Ghamdi, a PhD student and lecturer at Taif University. The meeting discussed four aspects. Ms. Abeer Al-Utaibi, a PhD student and school principal, tackled the concept of organizational health and how it should be enhanced by the leadership. Next, she presented the different levels of organizational health, highlighting the most important level from among them, namely the ideal level, in which all the employees are aware of the complete care their organization offers them as well as respecting their values and presence in the company. After that, Ms. Randa Al-Dadi, a PhD student and lecturer at Jeddah University, tackled the second aspect, represented in the concept of organizational trust. She referred to its dimensions, the importance of building it, and its types and components. She also pointed out how organizational trust is not limited to the mutual trust between the employees and the trust between the leaders and their subordinates; rather, it extends to include the trust in the basic values of the organization, its common vision, and the trust in the whole organizational system. Then came the third aspect, which was tackled by Ms. Munirah Al-Shimari, a PhD student and lecturer at Hail University, who referred to the outcomes of the low level of organizational trust and organizational health in an organization; that is, organizational silence. She tackled that concept and its stages. Moreover, she explained the most important reasons leading to it, and also its implications. At the end of the discussion on this aspect, she presented the ways of confronting organizational silence, indicating that the most effective way is to develop the employees' behavior and raise their job satisfaction. In the last talk, Ms. Ohoud Al-Masoudi, a PhD student and employee at Tabuk University, presented the concept of organizational regression and its causes, which include organizational slowness in responding to and adapting with surrounding variables. She also tackled the stages of organizational regression, and its implications. At the end of the talk on this aspect, a number of recommendations were presented on the best ways of dealing with organizational regression, including: the necessity of reconsidering the systems and regulations that control the work environment with the purpose of developing them in accordance with the ever-changing work conditions, in addition to bridging the gap between the theoretical aspect on the one hand and practice and application on the other.

Finally, Her Excellency Dr. Khuloud Al-Yusuf, the meeting supervisor, indicated that the meeting witnessed the interaction of all attendants, and received their admiration. She added that the event was attended by distinctive guests, including a number of vice deans of the different colleges, institutes and departments, in addition to teaching staff members, females employees and female students of the university.
