President of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) Dr. Bakri M'atooq bin Bakri Assas on Sunday Rabie Al-Awal 3, 1438 H paid an inspection visit to the housing of the faculty members at the university city in Abdyia. He was accompanied by UQU Vice-President for Branches Dr. Abdulmajeed bin Saeed Al Ghamdi, Head of Projects Department Eng. Saeed Barqawi, Head of Housing, land and Properties Department, Eng. Hani Wazan, Head of Operation and Maintenance Department, Eng. Abdel Mohsen Al Ahmedy, Head of Security Department Mr. Nabil Madadain, the director of the public relations and media department, Mr.  Khalid bin Jamil Morsi and the Private Secretary of the UQU President, Mr. Hisham al-Afghani.

 
During his inspection tour, Dr. Assas checked on cleaning of the hallways, streets and sidewalks at the faculty members housing. He also checked on the mosque, the social club, the investment side including the supermarket, Bakery and Clinic building besides the villas of the faculty members  currently under construction.   
 

He listened to a detailed explanations from  the Vice President for Branches about  the current phases of these projects, and also from the Head of Housing Department  about the faculty members housing's streets naming and numbering.

Concluding his inspection tour, Dr. Assas urged the officials and workers to exert more efforts and complete these projects which will contribute to creating the proper housing environment, saying that the University Administration always endeavor to properly prepare its facilities and colleges to upgrade education process in the university.
