UQU President Takes Administrative Decisions

The UQU President, Dr. Bakri bin Maatooq Assas, has taken a set of administrative decisions.

The Advisor to the UQU President, and Supervisor General of his office, Mr. Essam bin Hassan Margooshi, announced that the said decisions stipulated:

  1. Designating Dr. Ali bin Yahia al-Qassem as Head of the Department of Tourism and Hospitality at the College of Business Administration, for a tenure of two years, as of Rabee' I 27, 1438H, in addition to his post as Head of the college's Department of Hajj and Umrah Activities.
  2. Designating Dr. Muwaffaq bin Muhammad Ahmed Ereijah as Supvervisor-General of UQU Intellectual Property Bureau for a tenure of one year, as of Rabee' I 29, 1438H, in addition to his post as Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the College of Engineering and Islamic Architecture.
  3. Designating Dr. Moataz H. Murad as Supervisor of Chemicals Warehouse at the UQU Main Warehouse for a tenure of one year as of Rabee' I 28, 1438H, in addition to his post as director of the Applied Sciences Research Center.
  4. Renewing mandate of Dr. Osama bin Youssef Youssef Shaheen as the Head of the Department of Drugs at the College of Pharmacy for a tenure of six months, as of Muharram 27, 1438H;
  5. Renewing mandate of Dr. Ehab bin Talaat Ahmed AbdurrahIm as the Supervisor of the Department of Drugs and Toxins at the College of Pharmacy for a tenure of six months, as of Rabee' I 23, 1438H;
  6. Renewing mandate of Dr. Muhammad M. Salem as the Supervisor of the Department of Physiotherapy at the College of Applied Medical Centers for a tenure of one year as of Rabee' I 25, 1438H;
  7. Designating Dr. Rima S. Abouhmeid as the Vice Dean of Jamoum University College (Girls Section) for a tenure of six months as of Rabee' I 28, 1438H; and
  8. Designating Ms. Halima I. al-Zubaidi as the Assistant Head of Geography Department at the College of Social Sciences (Girls Section) for a tenure of six months, as of Rabee' I 27, 1438H.

The UQU President, Dr. Assas, wished them good luck with their new positions, and called upon them to make every effort to drive the university to the sought-after target.
