The Department Council of Educational Management and Planning held its fourth session for this semester, under the leadership of His Excellency the Head of the Department, Dr. Khalid Al-Sulaimi, and in the presence of all members of the council at the male and female sections. 

During the meeting, the Department Council discussed a number of topics stated on its agenda, and suitable decisions were taken concerning them. The most important of these topics were the execution of the development plan for department programs. Two committees were formed to prepare and build two programs for the doctoral degree in academic and educational leadership, and educational economics. 

Furthermore, the Department Council approved a paid-program for a master's degree that will start in the coming year. It also agreed on the assignment of His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Al-Lihiani to the Emirate of Makkah Province. Moreover, the Council took some academic decisions related to academic staff members and students.
