The College of Nursing students at Umm Al-Qura University conducted the World Diabetes Day event under the title, "Balanced Blood", at King Faisal Hospital, Makkah, on 16 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1441 A.H., under the supervision of Her Excellency Dr. Hasanat Al-Bashir, Assistant Professor at the Department of Nursing Practices in the College of Nursing, and the supervision of the Head of the Department of Nursing Practices, Her Excellency Dr. Nahla Abdul-Qadir Tayyib. The event won the admiration of all the audience, who took full advantage of the campaign.
