The female students of the Traffic Safety Club, affiliated to the Vice Deanship for Guidance and Community Partnership, entertainingly raised the awareness of the university affiliates about the causes of travel accidents and traffic rules. In so doing, they attributed the causes of traffic accidents to the wrong view that the person should have many stimulant drinks while driving. They also showed the most noticeable violations, and the most important regulations to be followed to avoid traffic accidents.

The female student Shouq Al-Ghamdi, the Head of the Voluntary Club, explained that the campaign was launched to correct the concepts prevalent in the community that drinking coffee helps avoid traffic accidents when travelling long-distances. For this purpose, they assigned an integrated corner to present some of the side effects of drinking coffee on those suffering from hypertension, hypotension and diabetes, in addition to its negative effect on stress and staying awake.

The student Raghad Al-Qurashi elaborated that by joining this club she raised her awareness of travelling systems and safe driving regulations. She added that joining the club contributed to the development of her social relationships with other female members of the club with regard to exchanging ideas, accepting different viewpoints, and cooperation in developing and carrying out initiatives to create a proper traffic environment.

On her part, Ms. Raya Al-Shereef, who is in charge of the club, highlighted the role of the program in raising the awareness of the university community about the systems of traffic safety and the mechanism of dealing with different accidents by displaying six educational sides covering the procedures of license issuance, regulations of insurance and first aid techniques, in addition to showing documentary films to raise the awareness of the risks of fast driving and traffic violations.
