Dr. Yasser bin Suleiman Shosho, Vice-President of Umm Al-Qura University, stressed that the bonuses of both male and female students for the two months of Safar and Rabi’I would be deposited next week, God Willing. He noted that all regulatory procedures of releasing bonuses at the determined time were followed; however, the delay was out of UQU Management’s hands. He also asserted that all delinquent financial dues of UQU male and female affiliates (i.e. board meetings of departments and colleges, permanent committees, etc.) would be released according to the followed regulations and laws during next few weeks.
This was during the check visit of UQU Vice-President to a number of administrations that had been authorized to close UQU budget for the financial year 1437/1438H. In the same context, he made sure that all the tasks given to the employees at such administrations had been completed before the end of the financial year 1438H.
Dr. Yasser Shosho also appreciated the efforts exerted by the employees at such administrations in the domains of payroll sheets of staff members and employees, students’ bonuses, various financial commitments, as well as budget distribution among colleges, assistant deanships and different administrations after being approved. Such efforts would positively affect the preparation of the educational environment either through the most recent equipment at classrooms or via the training courses that are allowed to staff members and employees.
It is worth mentioning that the check visits by UQU Vice-President included the Departments of Planning and Budget, Members of Staff and Employees Affairs, Operation, Maintenance and Services, Finance, in addition to Procurements and Tenders. During such visits, Dr. Yasser Shosho met with the heads and employees of such departments. He urged them to keep on the hard work and do their utmost for the promotion of UQU to keep pace with global universities.
