His Excellency the UQU President, Prof. Abdulla Bafail, today, Wednesday, received the Procedural Guide for Preparation and Development of the Academic Programs (Second Edition), which was prepared by the University Vice Presidency for Educational Affairs for the purpose of clarifying the mechanisms and standards of electronic renovation and the introduction of the study plans through the "Manhaj" system affiliated to the "Qemam" system. The guide clarifies the competencies and duties of the participating bodies, starting from the request for the creation of the study plan, until approving it on the admission and registration system, in a digitally flexible manner.
His Excellency the President praised the content of the guide, and its objectives in clarifying the procedures, duties, and competencies. In addition, His Excellency expressed his thanks to the University Vice President for Educational Affairs, Prof. Abdul-Aziz Suruji, the work team, and the Permanent Higher Committee for Curricula and Study Plans for producing this guide. He gave directions for the circulation of the guide to the university's colleges and institutes for them to deliver their study plans through the "Manhaj" system, and to utilize all the services offered in the "Qemam" system.
In turn, the University Vice President for Educational Affairs affirmed that developing the Procedural Guide for Preparation of the Academic Programs comes in line with the university's strategic plan towards digital transformation, and the University Vice Presidency for Educational Affairs' plan for automation of all the educational procedures and services. The plans aim to build a smart digital environment from which the educational bodies and the university's academic staff (males and females) may benefit.
