UQU President Visits Jeddah Book Fair

President of Umm Al Qura University (UQU) Dr. Bakri Bin M'atoog Bin Bakri Assas has visited the UQU's pavilion at Jeddah International Book Fair that shows up to 1,000 books.

During the second round of Jeddah Book Fair, Dr. Assas was accompanied with Dean of Library Affairs of Dr. Adel Dr. Banaemah, Head of the Public Affairs Department Mr. Khaled Jamel Morsi and UQU President's Secretary Mr. Hashim Al Afghani.

Dr. Banaemah said the book fair provides dozens of new book titles that cover a number of fields of study. He thanked Dr. Assas for his support given to the deanship and its activities.

In the same context, Dr. Assas hailed efforts exerted to represent the university in Jeddah Book Fair among other competitors and publishing houses.

He asserted keenness on the active participation on international arenas to present UQU knowledge production to cover social and cultural studies in addition to the religious, Arabic, medical and scientific fields of study.
