Arabic Language Institute staff for Non-native Speakers, paid tribute on Sunday 19/03/1438 H, to former dean Dr. Adel Banaemah, in recognition of his giving and efforts he exerted during his deanship of the Institute, in a ceremony that was held in celebration, which was attended by UQU President Dr. Bakri bin Matouq Asas, UQU vice deans, Dean of Admissions and Enrollment, Dean of the Institute, and the Institute's vice deans and staff at one of Mecca halls.
The ceremony started with reciting verses from the Holy Quran, after which the Arabic Language Institute for N Non-native Speakers' Dean Dr. Hassan Bukhari gave a speech in which he praised the efforts exerted by Dr. Adel Banaemah during his deanship of the Institute, noting that the Institute would continue its important march for the service of Arabic language and its sciences. He praised the support and attention of UQU President Dr. Bakri bin Matouq Asas and UQU vice deans for all of the Institute's activities and programmes. Then the audience listened to two poems recited by two staff members on the Institute, which won the approbation of all.
UQU President Dr. Bakri bin Matouq Asas gave a speech in which he stated that the Institute enjoys a lot of advantages and features for teaching Arabic language and its sciences, and the programs and courses it offers are proof of the importance and strength of this Institute, appreciating the efforts made by Dr Adel Banaemah during his tenure as Dean of the Institute, to serve Arabic language and its sciences.
Then the focus of the celebration, Dean of Library Affairs Dr. Adel Banaemah gave a word of thanks to all who worked with him at the Institute during the period of his deanship of the Institute. He praised all its professors and staff, adding that even if he left the Institute, but he'd always be the Institute's son, valuing the support and attention of UQU President Dr. Bakri bin Matouq Asas of the Institute and all its programmes, and thanked the Institute's Dean and its staff for this celebration.
