Within the framework of the keenness of the UQU Initiatives Management and Vision Realization Office to follow up on the existing initiatives being conducted at the university, on the one hand, and the efforts being undertaken to adopt new initiatives, on the other hand, the team at the UQU office visited the Vision Realization Office at the headquarters of the Ministry of Education in the capital Riyadh. This was part of a series of visits aimed at building an effective communication channel between the two offices.

During the visit, both sides discussed the outputs of the university-approved initiatives, as well as their allocation according to the appropriate vision programs. Moreover, among the issues reviewed at the meeting were the efforts exerted by the university to encourage its employees to prepare and introduce ambitious initiatives that achieve the aspired vision and meet their key designated targets, in addition to discussing the mechanisms of proposing these initiatives to the Vision Realization Office at the Ministry. This occurred within the context of a clear and specific action plan in preparation for submitting these initiatives to the executive program officials of the Saudi Vision 2030.

It is noteworthy that the university, represented by the Initiatives Management and Vision Realization Office, has offered a number of public and private workshops as well as individual support sessions to improve the preparedness of the university staff in how best to formulate initiatives. Moreover, one of the follow-up steps of this meeting was to urge participants to submit their initiatives through the initiative web portal, which was recently launched by His Excellency the UQU President, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail.
