His Excellency the UQU President, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bahusain Bafail, has issued an administrative decision based on the decision of the Minister of Education appointing His Excellency Dr. Sulaiman bin Ahmad Sulaiman Al-Saeed as Dean of Postgraduate Studies Deanship for a tenure of two years, from 28 Safar, 1441 A.H. His Excellency Prof. Abdullah asks Allah (Glorified and Exalted be He) to help Dr. Sulaiman and grant him success in performing his duty towards knowledge and its seekers, and in raising the standard of this university to enable it to reach its desired goals.

His Excellency Prof. Abdullah congratulated Dr. Sulaiman Al-Saeed on his appointment as Dean of Postgraduate Studies. He also urged Dr. Sulaiman to work hard and develop the former dean's work and efforts, wishing him success.

On his part, His Excellency Dr. Sulaiman Al-Saeed praised the trust that His Excellency the UQU President put in him by appointing him as Dean of Postgraduate Studies, stressing that he will – with Allah's help – meet his expectations. He then praised the efforts made by the former dean, Prof. Saeed Al-Harthi, and pointed out that he will work to develop these efforts to be in harmony with the Saudi Vision 2030, and in accordance with the National Transformation Plan 2020.

His Excellency's decision is part of the comprehensive developmental activity that the university is witnessing in all fields. It is also part of the university's earnest endeavors to achieve its goals, fulfill its vision, and accomplish its future mission in order to be the leader in terms of its various programs and activities that are in harmony with the Saudi Vision 2030.
