Dr. Al-Khuli Participates in the 'Volunteer Spirit' Forum in Collaboration with the Districts Centers Society

The UQU Vice President for Female Student Affairs, Dr. Sarah Al-Khuli, participated in the inauguration of the second version of the forum of "Volunteer Spirit" for the female volunteer groups affiliated to the "Glorification of the Holy City of Makkah" project, which is a branch of the Districts [Al-Ahiaa] Centers Society in Makkah Al-Mukarramah. The inauguration was held at Four Points Hotel with the participation of the academic staff and female consultants specialized in the field of volunteering. This event came in the framework of the social partnership between the university and those in the nonprofit sectors, and to enhance participation of all field categories in charities, enabling them to continue their efforts.

Furthermore, Dr. Sarah Al-Khuli stressed the honor of the assignment and great responsibility represented in a series of specific activities launched by the project, to remind others of the importance of volunteer initiatives at the sites of the Two Holy Mosques as well as the development of the society through the participation of its male and female members. In addition, she praised the efforts exerted by the female academic staff members to promote the culture of volunteer work in the minds of the female students, encouraging the use of scientific strategies and executive plans that guarantee the quality of the outcomes and the success of the implemented projects.

On his part, Dr. Talal Abu Al-Nur, the General Supervisor of the "Glorification of the Holy City of Makkah" project, drew attention to the university's contributions, represented by the vice presidency for female student affairs, to support programs of specialized volunteer initiatives launched by the Hajar female section, with the participation of a number of female academic staff in the Advisory Executive Council of the "Volunteer Spirit" competition and under their scientific directives to qualify the applying teams and train them on formulating specific initiatives serving the region and its guests, with outcomes appropriate to the national targets.
