The UQU President, Dr. Bakri bin Maatooq Assas, has taken a set of administrative decisions.
The Advisor to the UQU President, and Supervisor General of his office, Mr. Essam bin Hassan Margooshi, announced that the said decisions stipulated:
- Designating Dr. Tawfik E. al-Bakri as the Vice Dean of the College of Education for Educational Affairs for a tenure of two years as of Rabee' 14, 1438H;
- Renewing mandate of Dr. Abdulhaleem S. Sairafi as the Head of the Department of Physiology at the College of Medicine for a tenure of two years as of Ramadan 24, 1437H;
- Designating Dr. Mousa bin Derbash bin Mousa al-Zahrani as the Head of the Department of Arabic Rhetoric and Criticism at the College of Arabic Language for a tenure of two years as of Rabee' I 14, 1438H;
- Designating Dr. Abdullah bin Mushref Muahmmad al-Shaer as the Head of the Training Courses Center at the College of Education for a tenure of two years as of Rabee' I 14, 1438H;
- Designating Dr. Hatem M. al-Tass as supervisor of the Research Labs Building at the College of Applied Sciences for a tenure of one year as of Rabee' I 14, 1438H, in addition to his original job as Vice Dean of the College, and Head of the Department of Chemistry;
- Designating Dr. Faisal A. Barwees as Director of the Educational and Psychological Sciences Research Center at the Deanship of Scientific Research for a tenure of six months as of Rabee' I 14, 1438H;
- Renewing mandate of Dr. Khalil M. Ismael as the Supervisor of the Department of Epidemiology at the College of Public Health and Health Informatics for a tenure of one year as of Rabee' 7, 1438H;
- Designating Dr. Muhammad as the Supervisor of the Department of Epidemiology at the College of Public Health and Health Informatics for a tenure of one year as of Rabee' I 17, 1438H;
- Renewing mandate of Dr. Soaad bent Fureih bin Saleh Muhammad al-Thaqafi as Vice Dean of the College of Arabic Language for Educational Affairs and Development (Girls Section) for a tenure of two years, as of Muharram 27, 1438H;
- Designating Dr. Badriyya A. al-Jahdali as Vice Dean of the College of Applied Sciences for Educational Affairs and Development (Girls Section) for a tenure of six months, as of Rabee' I 14, 1438H;
- Renewing mandate of Dr. Amira J. al-Khasifan as Assistant Director of the Consultative Research and Studies Institute (Girls Section) for a tenure of two years, as of Dhul-Qeada 14, 14387;
- Renewing mandate of Dr. Haifaa H. Hejazi as an academic supervisor at the College of Applied Medical Sciences for a tenure of one year as of Muharram 27, 1438H; in addition to her original post as Head of the Department of Clinical Nutrition;
- Renewing mandate of Dr. Maha M. al-Lahibi as the Assistant Head of Social Service Department at the College of Social Sciences (Girls Section) for a tenure of six months, as of Rabee' I 07, 1438H.
- Assigning Mr. Mahfouz bin Muhammad bin Salim Bejood to work at the College of Dentistry as of Rabee' I 08, 1438H;
- Assigning Mr. Jaber A. Salawi to work at the University Security Department as of Rabee' I 14, 1438H;
- Assigning Mr. Abdullah M. al-Salmi to work at the University Security Department as of Rabee' I 14, 1438H; and
- Assigning Ms. Samia S. Hassanein to work at Jamoum University College as of Rabee' I 13, 1438H.
