Sports and Mental Contests at Sports Activities Department at the Deanship of Student Affairs for the First Semester in 1441

The Sports Activities Department at the Deanship of Student Affairs announces several sports and mental championships for students during the first semester of the academic year 1441. They are as follows:

Mental and Sports Championships:

  1. Table tennis championship from 21 to 23 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1441 A.H.
  2. Foosball championship from 7 to 9 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1441 A.H.
  3. Playstation championship from 14 to 15 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1441 A.H.
  • (Contests will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Championship supervisors: Mr. Nawwaf Al-Utaibi, and Mr. Ahmad Al-Hakami
  1. Baloot championship will be held on 15 and 16 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1441 A.H., from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m.

Championship supervisor: Mr. Khalid Al-Hudhali

Self-Defense Games Championships:

  1. Karate championship
  2. Taekwondo championship
  3. Judo championship

Levels will be determined for each game starting from 13 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1441 A.H., for two weeks, from Sunday to Wednesday. After the levels have been determined, the championship will start the following week, on Tuesday and Wednesday, at the sports gym in Al-Abdiyyah.

These championships are supervised by the coach: Mr. Muhammad Salim Harun.

Conditions to Join and Participate in the Championship and Sports Programs:

  • The student should be a regular student at the university.
  • The student should bring the university card. Registration starts on Sunday, 21 Safar, 1441 A.H., and ends on 3 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1441 A.H., for all games (except karate, taekwondo and judo, for which registration ends on Thursday, 10 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1441 A.H.).
  • The championships entail one round, as the defeated person is eliminated from the championship.
  • There will be financial awards for the first, second and third position in every game (except for karate, taekwondo, judo, and baloot, for which awards will be for only the first and second position).
  • Each game starts and ends at a set time (table tennis, foosball, playstation, baloot, karate, taekwonodo, and judo).

All tournaments are supervised by the Director of the Administration of Sports Activities, Mr. Abdullah bin Muhsin Al-Marham.
