Media Center at Umm Al-Qura University held a specialized training course on the basics of photographing for the affiliates of the center. This course was held in the presence of the Supervisor of the Media Center, Dr. Abdullah Al-Shinqiti, the Deputy Supervisor, Dr. Manal Khauj, and the Manager of the Center, Mr. Ayman Al-Hamad.
Dr. Abdullah Al-Shinqiti highlighted the support and the care that the center enjoys from His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail. He added that a training work plan was prepared to develop the skills of the affiliates of the center in all fields of interest to the center, and those related to content production, and photo and digital marketing, in addition to specialized courses.
He added that the goal of holding such training programs was to develop the skills of the center's affiliates and provide them with the latest practices used by the digital media to have a positive effect on the development of media production and display the academic and research mobility in the university.
The course included the concept and rules of photographing, types of lens and cameras, types of photographing, and the composition rules for photographing, in addition to a number of professional and technical practices in taking and developing photographs.
