Under the presidency of the Vice Dean of the College of Education, Her Excellency Dr. Abir Al-Sabban, and the Vice Dean of the College of Education for Educational Affairs, Her Excellency Dr. Kawthar Balgun, the Department of Family Education participated in the 89th National Day celebrations held in the yard of building (J). The female students of the department's student council participated in making a cake bearing the slogan: "Determination Till the End", before the attendees. This is in addition to a corner for photography, and displaying a brief video about the achievements of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during the past years.

The activities were held under the supervision of the Head of the Department, Dr. Inas Al-Sulaimi, and the Activities Coordinator of the Department, Afaf Al-Luwayhan. The attendees praised the participation and efforts of the department.
